Expressions of interest open for a new host organisation for the Conwy Valley and North Wales Coast Community Rail Partnership to manage a hosting grant agreement with Transport For Wales and Avanti West.
We are an accredited Community Rail Partnership, awarded by the Community Rail Network, Department for Transport and Welsh Government. Mr Philip Evans, Chair and Haf Jones, Vice Chair welcome you to visit our website Conwy Valley and North West Wales Coast Community Rail Partnership (conwyvalleyrailway.co.uk) which highlights the work we do in connecting communities to their railways.
Our partnership members include Transport For Wales, Avanti West Coast, Network Rail, British Transport Police, Ffestiniog Railway, Snowdonia National Park, Conwy Council, Gwynedd Council, MIND, Station Adoption representatives, Creating Enterprise, Community Rail Network and Boots on the Ground, North Wales Tourism and more.
The business activity plan is delivered by all members, led by a Community Rail Officer.
Our plan aims to:
- providing a voice for the community
- promoting sustainable, healthy and accessible travel
- bringing communities together and supporting diversity and inclusion
- supporting social and economic development
The Community Rail Partnership is very proactive with a positive presence on social media.
